Martha Sonnenschein Memorial Lecture by Layaliza Soloveichik, Hide and Seek: A Yom Yerushalayim Reflection 

Layaliza Soloveichik graduated from Yeshiva University as valedictorian in both Jewish Studies and General Studies. She then earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and clerked on the Supreme Court of Israel. She also clerked on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and became a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind Wharton and Garrison, LLP. Currently, she is an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Along the way she also obtained an M.S. in Jewish Education, and has given lectures in many Jewish communities around the United States.
