The Jewish Center is offering two locations for High Holiday services, in the Main Sanctuary and the Parallel Service in the Auditorium. Each service will be equally motivating and inspiring. Rabbi Yosie Levine and Rabbi Elchanan Poupko will deliver sermons to each minyan on alternating days of Yom Tov. Chazzan Jonathan Green, will lead our services in the Main Sanctuary. Jonathan Rimberg will lead the services in the Auditorium.

The link between personal prayer and public prayer since October 7: Thoughts for the new year

Dr. Aliza Lavie is a prominent public advocate in Israel, recognized for her work on the role of women in Judaism, Jewish education and identity, Israel-Diaspora relations, and Jewish culture. A former Member of Knesset, she served as chairperson of the Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality and the Committee to Combat Women Trafficking and Prostitution, earning the Outstanding Parliamentary Award for her pioneering legislation. Dr. Lavie is also the founder of the 120 Women Leadership Council and BLNG, an interactive educational technology venture, and currently chairs the Israel Film Council. She has authored five books, including A Jewish Women’s Prayer Book; which won the 2008 National Jewish Book Award, and her latest work, Iconic Jewish Women: Fifty-Nine Inspiring, Courageous, Revolutionary Role Models for Young Girls.
