Thanks to the vision and generosity of the UJA Federation’s Live w/ Purpose Initiative, The Jewish Center is proud to launch an exciting Social Action fellowship for young professionals (22-35) this coming year. The fellowship will include monthly seminars led by experts on a wide array of social issues; including homelessness, effective philanthropy, human trafficking and more. Co-taught by Rabbi Dovid Zirkind, the seminars will focus on the synthesis of text-based Torah study and the innovative social justice programing. In addition, the group will make bi-monthly site visits to organizations and institutions forging new paths in the world of social action, including Dorot, Met Council, JCC Adaptations and others.
